Full Frame Documentary Film Festival's 15th Anniversary Commemorative "Reel" Amber Ale

This year is the 15th annual Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in Durham at the Carolina Theater. We are honored to have been asked to brew a special commemorative beer. Named Reel Amber Ale, we brewed it in one long take to complement the documentary film festival’s authentic and honest style, this beer is focused and framed with a moderate body. The hop aromas are floral with an intertitle of earthy dry spice. We used the classic c-47 hopping method to yield a balanced bitterness in the hop department. It was critical to get this one in the can for the festival goers. Reel Amber is the featured beer at the opening gala event and on tap throughout the festival and at BCBB until it is gone. We hope it ends up shortlisted as a favorite beer this season.
