Ok, so yeah I'm new to the beer world and new to reviewing them, but thanks to growing up with a silver beer stein in my hand and a beer snob of a husband to go with it, I believe I have good taste in beers. I am an IPA lover and if that means I'm sleeping with the Devil then I'll Hop right into the bar with this one! My glass wasn't even full yet before I was wanting a sip! This beer (thank you Victory!) is one of my fav's! Nice dark amber color with clear clarity...losing patience - wanna drink.....distinct and in the face hoppy smell...and yay time to drink...mmmm... goes down smooth with a foamy savory feel in the mouth. Not real bitter but you get the good jowel bite/tingle that finishes with the satifactory crisp end that makes an IPA oh so good. Menacingly Delicious!

Jowel bite - why am I afraid to look that up on urban dictionary?

It still amazes me how some breweries manage to create delightfully hoppy brews with a silky smooth mouthfeel. Hats off to Victory, I completely see why HopDevil is their flagship. One of the best all around IPAs on the market as far as I'm concerned. And if Jowel Bite isn't in the urban dictionary, is certainly should be. :)

"Menacingly Delicious!". I don't think I could think of a better way to describe this brew. It really does just drink amazingly smooth for an IPA. Victory gets it, and I get them.
