I was born and raised in California, and growing up around family and friends who were passionate about wine. While I am not the biggest beer fan, I share the enjoyment of exploring the flavor universe of well-crafted beverages. My tastes run more towards the fruity end of the spectrum, hence my reviews of ciders and mead.

I firmly agree with the motto of the website: ''Because better beer tastes better''. Better beer does indeed taste better, as does better cider. I hope to share in the delight of non-hops bearing beverages, and would love to hear feedback from anyone reading my reviews.

We will review what you have written and determine whether or not to elevate your status. And don't worry, this isn't some elitist judgment or anything. BrewChief prides itself on quality review content, so if your reviews lack a desired level of depth, then we will happily respond with some constructive suggestions.
